We were walking peacefully down a path where we could see nothing wrong, it was in zigzag and it was made of steel. Then, out of nowhere, a big husky appeared! It bared its teeth and advanced malevolently. I turned when I heard a second growl, there was a German Shepherd. I got out of their way and they started to fight. It was painful to see those two fight, so I intervened. With a stick I separated both of them and hit the husky, which turned and ran away. I had allied with the German Shepherd. In that moment, we stepped into my grandmothers kitchen. There were plates already in their places, six around the square table. A big wardrobe was at my back, which had glass doors instead of wood doors. A lot of plates and glasses were placed in exhibition there. My family and my grandparents sat and started eating.

The German Shepherd was there, on my side, and the husky on the other side. Both were growling, and without previous knowledge, they ran outside through the door. The door was a glass door, and that side of the house had only walls of glass, too. Outside was the garden, which was really big, had a great tree in the center of it. The rest was normal, though a little old and with no good lights. I had then to go to the bathroom. I wasn’t thinking of something incredible, yet I remembered that the bathroom was only like 3 x 6 meters squared. I found instead a place so big, I couldn't see the end of it, or the ceiling. I felt little, horrible little, I hurried out of the bathroom just then. Like a déjà vu, I saw again how both dogs ran out of the kitchen through the door, but this time I saw someone else running after them.

I remembered him, he was my friend Eight. Can’t remember why we called him that... But he was here, how had he come? And my family and grandparents were gone, too. The door slammed after them and I was startled. I went to the door and tried to open it, but couldn’t. For some reason, I felt anxious. I tried to brake the glass, but I could not. Then I head someone laughing, it was a terrible laugh. Full of malice and hatred, and it was aimed at me. I walked to a cushion that was near the door and found an old woman laughing at me.

“You can’t go after him... he is not like you.” She said.
“Why?”
“He is something else, he is a step above you. Where he is going you would die. When he comes back, you will be long dead. One minute where he will be are 100 days here...” And again she laughed.
“I want to go with him.” I told her. I ran to the glass door and slammed myself into it; it didn’t budge. On the other side, on a little hill in the garden, Eight was calling for me, he was waving his hand, wanting me to come. I couldn’t hear, but I figured that out. It looked as if outside time had slow down. And there was I, on the other side of the door, unable to do anything.
I ran to the old woman again. “Tell me what I need to do. I want to go, too...” Said I, and looked at her in the eyes.

She shivered...and said something like “Alse”, and said no more.
“What did you say?” I asked, but she only laughed. This wasn’t helping. The sun was starting to rise; I felt it, I knew it, I had no more time... I started hitting the cold glass with my fist, then I screamed “Alse!” But nothing happened.... In desperation I started crying, this could not be, this was wrong. I leaned on the glass, and cried, still screaming “Alse”. So many times I said it, sometimes I stumbled upon the word. One time I said “Aisle”, and something happened: the air seemed to slow down, the light seemed to slow down. Everything shone with a strange orange light. I noticed how the glass was now something I could walk through. Only other problem now was that there was a fence, a metal and tall fence, that I could not walk through.  There was a song in the air, too, it said:

Little silver fox
Little silver fox
Run with the wind
Time is still
You can make it, now
Don’t stop....
Climb up
Don´t fall, don´t fall.
Fall....
Hurry, time is still, yours
The sun is rising…
The clock starts ticking…

</blockquote>
The fence had many spines, and my hands were bleeding now. I was trying to climb as fast as I could. Don’t fall… I managed finally to reach the top, and pass to the other side; my shirt got stock with a spare-like object, and when I let myself fall to the ground, it ripped it open. The sun is rising… I ran with all I had. There was a sudden explosion and my spell, and song, stopped. The explosion moved the earth, but I still ran.

I got the garden where Eight had wanted me to come. Somewhere concealed by bushes was a little platform. I saw how many people had been standing there by their footprints, in the moment of the explosion, which happened to be there, too. There was a metal torch in the middle, lighten. Fire was everywhere, in little patches. It would soon go out with nothing to live upon. I called Eight with all my might, but he was nowhere to be seen, he had disappeared. I fell on my knees and clawed the earth, he had gone…
Really gone.

The big tree in the middle let some rays of the newborn sun down into the garden. There was sadness in the air, and a terrible laughter. I saw the old woman, laughing at me, at my fruitless efforts. I looked at the tree, it looked old. And piece by peace, branch by branch, it came down. I took that as a sing: I was not going to see him again. I remembered how we used to climb the tree, the Seiba, how fun had it been. Now it was gone, too. The sun shone its cold and sad rays down upon me. My heart burned, how could that be, he was really gone… I walked to where the trunk had been. I had to pass over gigantic branches, careful not to fall over to my death. When I got to the trunk, I cried all what was left of me. I cursed everything, so angry was I. Then, I saw that there was a little sapling in the middle of the trunk, like a new child. A new beginning… I wished for a new beginning so much. I cried my tears over it, only four were able to reach it, only four I had left.
I felt exhausted and blinked once, for the sun was getting very bright.

I fell on the floor. But that was wrong, I should have fell on the old tree trunk. I opened my eyes and saw I was laying on the bathroom floor. I stood up and ran outside. Like a déjà vu, I saw again how both dogs ran out of the kitchen through the door, but this time I saw someone else running after them.

Eight. The door slammed after them and I was startled. I went to the door and tried to open it, but couldn’t. For some reason, I felt anxious. I tried to brake the glass, but I could not. Then I head someone laughing, it was a terrible laugh. Full of malice and hatred, and it was aimed at me. I walked to a cushion that was near the door and found the old woman laughing at me.

Aisle... I said. The air seemed to slow down, the light seemed to slow down. Everything shone with a strange orange light. I noticed how the glass was now something I could walk through. Only other problem now was that there was a fence, a metal and tall fence, which I could not walk through.  There was the song in the air, too. A tear of gratitude ran down my face.

I started climbing the fence, its many spines piercing my hand, making it bleed. Once on the top, I threw myself to the other side and my shirt got stock on a spear-like thing on the fence, ripping it completely. I ran to the garden where Eight had been a little while ago.

There I found him, behind the bushes, on the platform; the torch was unlit. He extended his hand, I jumped and reached for it. A ball of fire was racing down, towards the torch. When I grabbed Eights arm, the star crashed on the on the torch. An explosion happened.

I felt as if all of my insides, my skin, everything, was being cut and at the same time being flamed. I screamed but no sound got out, only the sound of fire. But I did not let go. When the pain stopped, I fell on hard earth, still clinging to my friends arm. We were both panting.... As far as I could see, there was only one road of earth. There were many trees, all aflame; the sky was dark with the smoke. The air was dense and hot, and the sound of fire and a screeching noise pierced my ears. When we managed to stand up, we saw that all around, to the horizon, and over it, Everything was on fire. Even some animals we saw, screaming in agony, on fire. This was where he, but now we, were going to stay. Where a minute was a hundred days. For how long...?
He looked at me, sad, like asking why had I come... “I wanted to go, too.” I answered. And walked over the only path that was left.
This is one dream, or rather a nightmare, I had last night. I couldn't sleep after it. It repeated over and over in my mind.
Wish you are not too disturbed by it!
Any questions, you've only got to ask.

...It's a scary dream, it actually send a shiver down my spine. But it's so brilliantly written and you portrayed the emotion perfectly. I especially love how the bits with the de ja vu were written almost exactly the same as they were before. It really gives that extra magical touch to the story. Thank you for letting me in to this world of mystery, I hope you're not too shaken up after the dream ^^;
